Math and Science Teacher/Tutor Wanted

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a part-time math and science teacher/tutor. If you have a passion for mathematics and science, and enjoy helping students succeed in these subjects, we encourage you to apply.

About the Role

As a math and science teacher/tutor at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc., you will work directly with students to help them develop their understanding of mathematical and scientific concepts. You will be responsible for teaching up to three students at a time, and will work closely with our team to ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed.

Responsibilities
  • Teach math and science to students in grades 9-12
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of individual students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in math and science education
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Experience teaching or tutoring math and science to students in grades 9-12
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
