Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical and cognitive functioning, including job demands analyses, functional capacity evaluations, and cognitive abilities evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address clients' unique needs and goals.
  • Educate clients on safe body mechanics, cognitive behavioral strategies, and functional tolerance activities.
  • Support return-to-work programs, including job coaching and accommodation recommendations.
  • Utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Participate in case conferences and case management, collaborating with the inter-professional team at your clinic.
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy students, as preferred.
  • Network with stakeholders to promote Lifemark OT programs.
  • Manage a fast-paced caseload, prioritizing tasks and deadlines.

What We're Looking For:

  • Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
  • Previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development.
  • Previous experience supporting auto insurance, long-term disability, and WSIB referrals is a strong asset.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
