About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically capable individual to join our team at Your Friend with a Cube Van Inc. as a Furniture Mover - Load and Unload Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload products and materials from our cube van, ensuring efficient and secure transportation.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment, including basic material handling equipment, to load, unload, and move materials and products.
  • Product Preparation: Make labels and attach them to goods, wrap goods, pack and unpack goods, sort, crate, and stack goods, install, lash, and secure goods.
  • Transportation and Distribution: Transport and distribute materials and goods to various locations.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding activities.
  • Physical Capabilities: Possess the ability to bend, crouch, and kneel, with attention to detail and a focus on efficiency.
Requirements
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar field is an asset.
