Furniture Mover Job Description

Your Friend with a Cube Van Inc. is seeking a reliable and efficient Furniture Mover to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading products and materials from vehicles and storage areas
  • Operating a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
  • Making labels and attaching them to goods
  • Wrapping and packing goods for transportation
  • Sorting, crating, and stacking goods for storage
  • Installing, lashing, and securing goods for transportation
  • Transporting and distributing materials and goods to various locations
Work Environment:

As a Furniture Mover, you will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a variety of equipment and machinery. You will be required to lift, bend, and move heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
  • Reliability and efficiency in completing tasks
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
