Food Service Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at 2856937 ONTARIO INC.
Job Summary:The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, and ensuring the efficient operation of our food service.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and handle customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Food Preparation and Handling: Prepare and serve food, wash and peel vegetables and fruit, and maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment.
- Housekeeping and Maintenance: Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and other dining area equipment, sweep, mop, and polish floors, and remove kitchen garbage and trash.
- Inventory and Supply Management: Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, and maintain accurate records of food quantities used.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
The Food Counter Attendant will work in a fast-paced environment with heavy loads, overtime required, and physically demanding tasks. The ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail is essential for this role.
Weight Handling:The Food Counter Attendant will be required to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and handle heavy loads.
