Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate recycling trucks, salt trucks, and snow transportation trucks to collect and transport recyclable materials.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly check, lubricate, refuel, and clean equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Material Handling: Load and unload recyclable materials from trucks, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Safety and Security: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: DZ class license and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work environment, requiring the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
Working Conditions
  • Work Setting: Various locations, including urban and rural areas.
  • Work Schedule: 40 to 48 hours per week, with overtime required as needed.
