Power Washer Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Power Washer Technician to join our team at Advantage Personnel. As a Power Washer Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment at customer sites in Ottawa and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to safety protocols and be familiar with the Occupational Health & Safety Act
  • Drive to customers at commercial or residential job sites
  • Pressure wash garbage chutes, linen chutes, and waste containers
  • Use standard hand-tools and pressure washing equipment daily
  • Assist with set up and tear down of light equipment at job sites
  • Conduct inspections on recycling equipment and waste containers with the Service Technician
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate with management and maintenance staff
  • Address urgent calls and manage unforeseen challenges to ensure minimal downtime for clients
  • Leave each job site clean and free of debris

Requirements:

  • Valid 'G' Driver's License with a clean abstract
  • WHMIS training is considered an asset
  • Self-motivated and a team player
  • Flexibility to travel, work early shifts, late finishes, and occasional weekend work

Working Environment:

  • Physical Demands: Standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, and kneeling
  • Safe driving for up to 2-3 hours to reach job destinations
  • Manual dexterity to operate equipment and tools
