Analytical Intern, Fleet Operations

The Fleet Operations Team oversees all facets of rental and intermodal equipment management, tracking, and the processes related to yard and shunting operations, including the stewardship of our Yard Management Software (YMS), currently known as Yard Smart.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire knowledge and experience with CTR processes and systems to deliver effective solutions for key business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management and Suppliers to analyze data and facilitate informed business decisions.
  • Conduct analytical tasks to support process enhancements.
  • Gather project-relevant information from both internal and external sources.
  • Document workflows and assist in the creation of training materials.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Proficient in data analysis, report generation, and presenting findings under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in supply chain management is advantageous.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access, are essential.
  • Previous internship experience is considered a plus.

We value adaptability and have embraced a hybrid work model where employees work both in-office and remotely. This role is based out of our Mississauga Campus, with a minimum of two days per week on-site.
