Job Summary:

The Upper Grand District School Board is seeking a qualified Long Term Occasional Core French & Planning Specialist to join our team. As a Long Term Occasional employee, you will be working on a part-time basis to support the needs of our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide French language instruction to students in a core French program
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

Requirements:

  • FSL Part 1 certification
  • Primary or Junior teaching certification
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
