Job Title: Long Term Occasional Position

We are seeking a qualified Long Term Occasional teacher to join our team at the Upper Grand District School Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing educational support to students in a part-time capacity.

Job Summary:

This is a part-time position that will involve working with students in a variety of settings, including classrooms and special education programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to students and parents.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
  • Work collaboratively with other educators and support staff to provide a comprehensive educational program
  • Provide educational support to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms and special education programs
Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess a Special Education Part 1 qualification and have experience working with students with diverse learning styles and abilities. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
