Server - Food Service Support

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Server to join our team at Lakeside Manor, a senior living community in Salmon Arm, BC. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation, presentation, and service of meals, adhering to food safety practices and company policies.
  • Respect residents' choices and preferences in meal service, ensuring a personalized experience.
  • Conduct thorough clean-up after meals, maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.
  • Stock the common area kitchen, utilizing proper inventory rotation methods for perishable products.
  • Collect and distribute bedding and towels to service areas, adhering to pre-determined top-up levels.
  • Wash, dry, and fold flat linens and towels, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
Requirements:
  • Previous hospitality experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Comfortable working alone or in a team environment.
  • Able to plan, organize, and deliver services with minimal supervision.
  • Current WHMIS Certification is an asset.
  • Current Food Safe certificate Level 1 – Basic (or equivalent) is an asset.
