Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and submit regular reports to management on production progress and any issues that may arise.
- Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality, and implement changes as needed.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that production targets are met.
- Train or arrange for training of production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
- Oversee the safety of operations and ensure that all necessary safety protocols are followed.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Set up machines and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of production staff, and review their performance as needed.
- Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
