About the Role

GardaWorld is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of people, assets, and property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the protection of people, assets, and property through effective surveillance and monitoring
  • Act as a point of contact with authorities and emergency services
  • Monitor detainees and maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Complete administrative functions, including reporting and record-keeping
  • Conduct preventive surveillance rounds to identify and mitigate potential security risks
Requirements
  • Available to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
  • Policing or corrections background or 3+ years of experience as a high-profile security officer
  • First Aid CPR Level C certification (issued by Red Cross, St John Ambulance, or Heart and Stroke)
  • Permanent Canadian resident for a minimum of 5 years
  • Clear criminal background
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Federal Reliability Security Clearance status
  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • Bilingualism is an asset (as needed per location)
