Job Overview

As a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in guiding a team to execute comprehensive testing in the realm of electronic engineering, specifically focusing on infotainment systems and online media connectivity for both Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and Electric Vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team in the execution of tests related to electronic engineering.
  • Conduct thorough error analysis and manage the creation and tracking of error tickets.
  • Evaluate and document test results meticulously.
  • Present findings to stakeholders and collaborate closely with developers and suppliers.
  • Coordinate and participate in test drives, both domestically and internationally.
  • Oversee the flashing and software updates of electronic components within vehicles.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, or equivalent technical training with relevant professional experience.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on experience in vehicle and bench setup, focusing on verification, flashing, and validation in electronic engineering.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and ticketing tools such as ODIS, IDEX, Doors, Jira, KPM, and CANOe; ISTQB certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with trace and communication tools, including Serial 2, HMI monitor, DLT viewer, Tele motive blue pirate, CAN Buses, Broad-R-Reach, and Ethernet communications.
  • A passion for new technologies and the ability to thrive in an intercultural environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative team spirit.

Additional Information:

Knowledge of common troubleshooting tools and a solid understanding of flashing and software updates for in-vehicle components are essential. The role also requires participation in test drives as part of the validation process.
