Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at MR MIKES SteakhouseCasual Chilliwack. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dining room and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
    • Train and develop our staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food and beverages meet our quality control standards, and that our customers receive a consistently high level of service.
    • Monitor and maintain accurate records of stock, sales, and wastage to inform our inventory and purchasing decisions.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers feel valued and respected.
    • Work closely with our servers and hosts/hostesses to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and that our dining room is running smoothly.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key metrics to inform our business decisions.
    • Maintain accurate records of employee hours, attendance, and performance.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
