Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Repair: Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • On-Site Fabrication: Cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal to meet project requirements.
  • Quality Control: Inspect products to ensure they meet our quality standards and specifications.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with sheet metal workers and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Specialization: Develop expertise in green economy sector, copper or metal roofs, custom sheet metal items, decorative metal sheets, eavestroughing and flashing, roof decking, sheathing and cladding, and stainless steel equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Noisy, dusty, at heights, and confined spaces.
  • Work Setting: Installation, service, various locations, repair, and on-site fabrication.
  • Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, and tight deadlines.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license, own transportation, own vehicle, and willingness to travel.
  • Tools and Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, ear plugs, hard hat, and tools.
