Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Package and label bakery products for sale, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
- Perform tasks such as slicing bread, frying donuts, utilizing ovens, and assisting in production as directed by bakers.
- Stock shelves and pull freezer products as needed, maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing store environment.
- Assist in setting up products for the following day, ensuring a smooth and efficient start to the day.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
- Team player with the ability to work independently, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with some heavy lifting required.
- Prior experience in a bakery setting is an asset, but training is available for the right candidate.
