Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Oncology team at Humber River Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals undergoing cancer treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer chemotherapy and other cancer treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on cancer treatment options and side effects
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences
Requirements
  • Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current BCLS certification
  • CNA certification in Oncology Nursing (preferred)
  • 2 years recent experience in oncology (preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
