About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Management: Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure adequate inventory levels of medications and over-the-counter supplements to meet patients' needs.
  • Patient Counseling: Provide friendly, positive, and proactive interaction with patients, counseling them on new and additional medications, and educating them on proper use and potential side effects.
  • Community Outreach: Create awareness and educate customers through public relations, public health days, clinics, and other community-based initiatives.
  • Leadership and Training: Provide ongoing training and support to new and existing pharmacy colleagues, including technicians, interns, students, and IPGs.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist license.
  • Customer Service: Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism.
  • Leadership and Performance Management: Excellent leadership and performance management skills, with the ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to formulate and execute action plans.
