About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Well Testing Operator to join our team at Grant Production Testing Services LTD. As a Well Testing Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our well testing services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Safety Procedures are Followed: You will be responsible for ensuring that all safety procedures are followed during well testing operations, including the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to company safety protocols.
  • Train or Arrange for Training of Crew: You will be responsible for training or arranging for training of crew members on well testing procedures and safety protocols.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance: You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on well testing equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Inspect to Ensure Safe Working Conditions: You will be responsible for inspecting the work site to ensure that safe working conditions are maintained, including the removal of hazards and the implementation of safety measures.
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules and Coordinate Work Activities: You will be responsible for establishing methods to meet work schedules and coordinating work activities with other work units to ensure efficient operation of well testing services.
  • Maintain Clean and Safe Work Environment: You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including the disposal of hazardous materials and the cleaning of equipment.
  • Ensure Adherence to Government Regulations and Company Objectives: You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to government regulations and company objectives, including the implementation of safety protocols and the maintenance of accurate records.
  • Communicate with Other Workers to Coordinate the Preparation and Completion of Work Assignments: You will be responsible for communicating with other workers to coordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments, including the sharing of information and the coordination of activities.
  • Discuss Work with Supervisor: You will be responsible for discussing work with your supervisor to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard and that any issues are addressed in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Field Sampling and Data Acquisition Experience: You will have experience in field sampling and data acquisition, including the use of specialized equipment and the collection of data in a variety of environments.
  • Oil and Gas Well Logging and Testing Experience: You will have experience in oil and gas well logging and testing, including the use of specialized equipment and the interpretation of data.
  • Valid Driver's Licence: You will have a valid driver's licence and be willing to travel to work sites.
  • Vehicle Supplied by Employer: You will have a vehicle supplied by the employer, which will be used for travel to work sites.
  • Willing to Travel: You will be willing to travel to work sites, including remote locations.
  • Travel Expenses Paid by Employer: You will have travel expenses paid by the employer, including fuel, maintenance, and other expenses.
  • Work Under Pressure: You will be able to work under pressure, including in high-stress environments.

  • 1 Year to Less Than 2 Years of Experience: You will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, including well testing, oil and gas, and field sampling and data acquisition.
