Job Title: Well Testing Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled Well Testing Operator to join our team at Grant Production Testing Services LTD.

Job Summary:

The Well Testing Operator will be responsible for ensuring safety procedures are followed, training or arranging for training of crew, performing preventive maintenance, inspecting to ensure that safe working conditions are maintained, establishing methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinating work activities with other work units, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring adherence to government regulations and company objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed and maintained.
  • Train or arrange for training of crew members.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tools.
  • Inspect work sites to ensure safe working conditions are maintained.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ensure adherence to government regulations and company objectives.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Vehicle supplied by employer.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Travel expenses paid by employer.
Work Environment:

The Well Testing Operator will work outdoors in a remote location with a staff accommodation available. The work site environment is dangerous, wet/damp, and noisy.

Work Setting:

The Well Testing Operator will work in a staff accommodation available in a remote location.

Area of Work Experience:

The Well Testing Operator will have experience in field sampling and data acquisition.

Area of Specialization:

The Well Testing Operator will have specialization in oil and gas well logging and testing.

Transportation/Travel Information:

The Well Testing Operator will require a valid driver's licence and will have a vehicle supplied by the employer. The employer will pay for travel expenses.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

The Well Testing Operator will work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and have physically demanding work. The operator will require manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye co-ordination.

Experience:

The Well Testing Operator will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
