Job Title: Safety, Health and Environmental Associate

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our Director of SHE and the Corporate Services department in delivering services and programs to enhance our safety culture and employee workplace experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety and Security: Support SHE onboarding for new hires, manage security access cards, review building access requests, and maintain a card database.
  • Health and Wellness: Participate in quarterly JHSC meetings, prepare agendas and take minutes, issue and track training for employees, conduct monthly safety inspections, and promote internal awareness.
  • Environmental Sustainability: Support departmental projects aligned to various SHE Directives, including improving building sustainability and transportation strategy.
  • Site Services: Support CS People Alert database, contractor management for SHE compliance, and building inspections.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled student in an Undergraduate or Graduate level, preferably in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Availability to attend the internship in a hybrid model, full time, and for a minimum of 6 months length.
