About the Role

Rana Development Ltd. is seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Conduct site surveys and ensure building locations and levels are accurate
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working at heights, handling heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work at heights and handle heavy loads
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
