About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our Visiting Nurse Program in the Owen Sound area. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional nursing services to patients in their homes, clinics, and other community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain effective care plans for patients, working independently or in collaboration with the Home and Community Care Support Services (HCCSS)
  • Provide nursing services in a variety of settings, including in-home, clinic, retirement home, or school
  • Communicate and liaise with patients, family members, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
  • Perform other clinical duties as required

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) degree or diploma
  • Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • CPR Certification
  • Current immunization record, including 2-step TB test
