About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to join our team at Atlantis IT Group. As a Mainframe Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Mainframe Assembler, COBOL, and JCL to meet support and/or project requirements for CONNEX on IBM payments switch application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe Assembler, COBOL, and JCL to meet support and/or project requirements.
  • Interface with business and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate business requirements into formal technical requirements and application code.
  • Develop and execute unit test and integration plans/scripts to validate that application changes meet technical specifications.
  • Responsible for full System Development Life Cycle.
  • Participate in production support.
  • Provide Solution Delivery Methodology artifacts associated with application components.
  • Participate in technical reviews at appropriate stages of development.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in Mainframe development.
  • Expert knowledge in CONNEX on IBM Payment switch application development.
  • Coding experience in Assembler, COBOL, DB2, JCL.
  • Strong payments domain knowledge.
  • EMV messaging and ISO8583 message formats.

Desirable Skills:

  • Banking Domain knowledge.
  • Experience with application design, development, and deployment.
