Position Overview

The Finance Partner for Technical Operations plays a crucial role in supporting the Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcing divisions of Mundipharma. This position is designed for a professional who is adept at delivering insightful financial analysis and fostering collaboration across various teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Partnership: Collaborate with the VP of Supply Chain and the Senior Director of Strategic Sourcing to provide performance management and decision-making support.
  • Financial Planning: Ensure the achievement of financial objectives related to operational savings, operating expenses, full-time equivalents, restructuring, and extraordinary costs.
  • Month-End Processes: Oversee month-end closing activities, including accruals and intercompany transactions, while coordinating with finance shared services.
  • Reporting: Deliver comprehensive reports on operating expenses, full-time equivalents, goods received not invoiced, and project performance.
  • Business Cases: Prepare and present business cases and capital expenditure proposals as necessary.
  • Project Management: Track and report on key projects and initiatives to ensure alignment with financial goals.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A formal accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) coupled with a robust background in financial planning and analysis.
  • Experience in finance partnering within a matrixed and cross-functional setting.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector, particularly in Technical Operations, including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Strategic Sourcing.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong presentation skills.
