Job Title: Veterinary Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Dr. Zaeem ul Islam Veterinary Medicine Professional Corporation.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide exceptional care and support to our veterinary team, ensuring the highest level of service to our clients and their pets.

Responsibilities:
  • Animal Care: Handle, restrain, and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery.
  • Assist Veterinarian: Assist the veterinarian before, during, and after surgery.
  • Treatments: Administer treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
  • Research: Conduct and assist in laboratory research.
  • Office Management: Perform a variety of office management and clerical duties.
  • Nursing Care: Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals.
  • Wound Care: Provide wound and bandage care.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years or equivalent experience.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions: Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Physically demanding.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, flexibility, organized, team player.
