About the Role

The Facility Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including mechanical and electrical systems. This role requires a strong understanding of facility operations and maintenance, as well as excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Respond to service requests and perform repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain facility systems, including energy management and building automation systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless facility operations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal facility performance.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, including tenants and employees.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in facility operations and maintenance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trades training and/or certification a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in facility operations and maintenance, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
