Position Overview

The Security Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the premises. This position requires a dedicated individual who can effectively manage a team and respond to various security challenges.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year but less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the security sector.
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary contact for emergency situations, ensuring swift and effective responses.
  • Compile and present progress reports and other necessary documentation.
  • Address workplace issues, offering technical guidance and suggesting improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Oversee, coordinate, and schedule the activities of security personnel.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, safety protocols, and company regulations.
  • Establish work schedules and operational procedures.
Supervisory Scope

Responsible for supervising a team of 5 to 10 security personnel.

Licenses and Certifications
  • Must possess a valid Security Guard License.
Work Environment
  • Ability to perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with the need to stand for extended periods.
