Head of Data and Analytics

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Data and Analytics to join our team at RateHub. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our data strategy, ensuring that our data assets are leveraged to inform business decisions and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Vision: Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with our business objectives, and provide strategic guidance to our leadership team on data-driven decision-making.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Own the development and maintenance of our data analytics capabilities, including data ingestion, harvesting, engineering, analysis, and modeling. Ensure that our data is accurate, complete, and timely, and that our reporting and analytics capabilities are robust and effective.
- Data Warehousing and Governance: Design, implement, and manage our data warehousing and governance capabilities, ensuring that our data is secure, compliant, and easily accessible to authorized users.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of data analysts and scientists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their success and growth.
- Proven Experience: 8+ years of experience in data and analytics roles, with a strong track record of success in developing and implementing data strategies.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analytics tools and technologies, including data warehousing, ETL, and data visualization. Experience with cloud hosting platforms, schedule runners, and data transformation tools is an asset.
- Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead and manage high-performing teams, with a strong focus on talent development and retention.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial mindset, with the ability to understand and communicate the business value of data-driven insights.
