Job Title: Chess Instructor

We are seeking a skilled Chess Instructor to join our team at Érable Atlas. As a Chess Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and demonstrating athletic, fitness, and sports activities and techniques to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate and instruct various sports and fitness activities, including chess strategies and techniques.
  • Keep accurate logs and maintain records of client progress and activities.
  • Schedule activities and programs to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Supervise staff and ensure they are providing excellent service to our clients.
  • Train staff on new techniques and strategies to improve their skills.
  • Assist with the coordination of recreational, sport, and fitness events.
  • Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs, including chess tournaments and workshops.
  • Maintain and repair sports equipment, including chess sets and boards.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times.
  • Assemble supplies, sports, and game equipment as needed.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interpersonal awareness and ability to work with diverse groups.
  • Organized and reliable with a strong attention to detail.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
