Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery Drivers Supervisor to join our team at Parts LogiQ. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our delivery drivers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of parts to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Delivery Drivers
    • Oversee the daily activities of our delivery drivers, ensuring they are aware of their routes, schedules, and delivery deadlines.
    • Monitor driver performance, providing feedback and coaching to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage Dispatch Operations
    • Coordinate the dispatch of delivery drivers, ensuring the right driver is assigned to the right route.
    • Monitor and adjust dispatch schedules as needed to ensure timely delivery.
  • Prepare Reports and Analyze Data
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on delivery performance, including metrics on on-time delivery, driver productivity, and customer satisfaction.
    • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations to management to optimize delivery operations.
  • Train and Develop Drivers
    • Provide training and coaching to new drivers, ensuring they are familiar with our delivery procedures and protocols.
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve driver skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure Health and Safety
    • Ensure all drivers are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations and protocols.
    • Investigate and report any incidents or accidents involving drivers.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a logistics or transportation company
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to train and develop drivers
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 32-35 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to adapt to changing circumstances.
