Empowering Excellence in Property Claims Management
At Intact Financial Corporation, we're seeking a seasoned Property Complex Claims Representative to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our claims management process, you'll be responsible for negotiating and settling outstanding claims, managing complex files, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the company in claim negotiations and settlements
- Manage complex claims through Alternative Dispute Resolution or Litigation processes
- Investigate, negotiate, and settle losses
- Engage and manage internal and external counsel, consultants, adjusters, accountants, appraisers, and engineers
- Lead analysis and assessment processes, including coverage, liability, and damages
- Participate in loss management and expense reserves
- Assist with unit priorities and other duties as assigned by the Unit Manager
Requirements:
- University degree or college diploma preferred
- Minimum 5 years of property claims handling experience, commercial claims preferred
- Ongoing commitment to self-development
- Experience with lead and non-lead subscription property claims
- Exceptional service skills, file management capabilities, and leadership
