Job Summary

The Graduate Assistant - Masters position at Toronto Metropolitan University is a dynamic opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the academic success of students. As a Graduate Assistant, you will play a vital role in the grading process, proctoring tests, and conferring with instructors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the grading of tests, lab sets, essays, and term papers
  • Proctor tests, midterms, and quizzes
  • Confer with the supervising instructor and attend mandatory training

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a 1st year Masters, 2nd year Masters, or PhD program
  • Greater preference will be given to Doctoral candidates, followed by Master's candidates
  • Relevant experience as an Assistant at the University (if applicable)

Compensation

  • Master's candidates: $47.06 per hour
  • PhD candidates: $50.82 per hour
