Auto Parts Store Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipper/Receiver at our Auto Parts Store. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for efficiently checking, picking, receiving, shipping, stocking, and organizing automotive parts. Your strong work ethic, positive attitude, and customer-focused mindset will make you a valuable asset to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support all store warehouse duties, including picking orders, receiving, inventory control, shipping, stocking, and organizing.
- Help control inventory and ensure product availability.
- Coordinate drivers for effective dispatching of vehicles.
- Complete necessary paperwork in an accurate manner.
- Efficiently and safely load auto parts onto delivery vehicles.
- Efficiently and correctly complete deliveries, being mindful of customer preferences.
- Collaborate with the main warehouse to resolve stock-related concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized store by keeping racking, shelves, pallet area, workstations, and shared spaces neat.
- When required, answer inbound calls and ensure all calls are answered in a professional manner.
- Other reasonable duties as assigned by the management team.
Requirements:
- A valid G Driver's License and a clean 3-year driver's abstract required.
- Basic math skills and ability to sort alphanumerically.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., ability to use Outlook, online database, and web-based training).
- Picking, receiving, shipping, inventory control, and stock maintenance experience an asset.
- Driver dispatching experience an asset.
