Job Summary: As the Alcohol Sales and Marketing Manager for AP Digital Agency, you will play a pivotal role in increasing our brand's presence and sales within the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) stores in Toronto. You will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies, building strong relationships with LCBO buyers, and ensuring our whiskey is prominently featured and available to consumers. This position requires a passionate, results-driven, and experienced professional in the alcoholic beverage industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- LCBO / Licensee Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with LCBO buyers and key decision-makers, as well as individual licensees.
- Work closely with LCBO staff to understand their product selection and placement criteria.
- Present AP Digital Agency's whiskey in a compelling manner, highlighting its unique features and benefits.
Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy specifically tailored to penetrate the LCBO market and beyond
- Identify and pursue new opportunities for distribution and promotions within LCBO stores as well as licensees.
Inventory Management:
- Ensure adequate stock levels of AP Digital Agency's whiskey in LCBO stores.
- Monitor and manage inventory turnover and reorders to prevent stockouts.
Promotions and Brand Awareness:
- Plan and execute promotional events, tastings, and marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling promotions and materials.
Market Analysis:
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences within the Toronto market.
- Utilize market insights to adjust sales strategies and product positioning.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on sales performance, market penetration, and progress toward sales targets.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of successful alcohol sales and distribution, preferably within the LCBO system.
- Strong network of contacts within the LCBO system is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative sales and marketing strategies.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel within the GTA area as needed.
