Job Summary
CareRx is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacist to join our team in St.Catharines. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure medication orders are dispensed accurately and safely.
- Consult with pharmacy management on unresolved issues and provide exceptional customer care to patients and home partners.
- Communicate effectively with the resident care team while maintaining professionalism.
- Conduct medication regimen/profile reviews and document recommendations.
- Follow provincial and federal laws, standards, and regulations governing pharmacy practice.
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring pharmacy inventory.
- Participate in training and support for new and existing team members.
Requirements
- Current licensure and good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
- Proven ability to foster strong partnerships with healthcare teams.
- Effective organization, planning, and time management skills.
- Knowledge of Kroll Windows application preferred.
- Skilled in critical thought processes and ability to prioritize appropriately.
