Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fixed Term Analyst to join our team at CP. As a key member of our publications team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and punctuality of revenue data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Input client information into CP systems, including rates, to ensure seamless data entry and processing.
  • Accurately document the details of Client Commercial Agreements to maintain a high level of data integrity.
  • Adhere to all relevant internal company policies and external regulations to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
  • Provide leadership with updates and tracking information related to assignments to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Keep leadership informed about the progress and tracking of data entry to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Ensure open and direct communication with team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Ensure publications are in line with commercial agreements, system demands, and internal guidelines to maintain a high level of quality and accuracy.
  • Responsible for the accuracy and punctuality of revenue data to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution, ideally in a field related to the position, such as business administration or finance.
  • At least two years of related professional experience, or a mix of education and experience that is comparable, in a role that involves data entry, analysis, and reporting.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical skills to ensure accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and analysis.
  • Ability to solve problems and think critically to resolve complex issues and challenges.
  • Skilled in using Office software, particularly Excel, and SAP to perform data entry, analysis, and reporting tasks.
  • Three years of experience in railroad transportation is desired, but not required.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred, but not required.
