Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Education: Completion of a College/CEGEP program.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role.
  • Facilitate access and utilization of computer networks.
  • Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and administration of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and associated computer workstations and peripherals.
  • Continuously monitor the performance of computer systems and networks to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Assess and install necessary computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
  • Provide effective problem-solving support to network users.
  • Implement robust data, software, and hardware security protocols.
  • Conduct routine network startups and shutdowns while maintaining accurate control records.
  • Execute data backups and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Establish local area networks and facilitate Internet connectivity.
  • Utilize network traffic and security monitoring software to enhance server performance.
  • Manage web server backup and recovery operations.
Technical Proficiencies
