Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Culinary Specialist to join our team at MASK INDIAN KITCHEN + BAR INC.. This role is essential in delivering exceptional dining experiences through the preparation of high-quality meals.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school education is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant culinary experience is preferred.
Work Environment

The position is based in a vibrant restaurant setting, where teamwork and creativity are key.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage special culinary events.
  • Assess food portion sizes and calculate associated costs.
  • Design menus and forecast food requirements for effective execution.
  • Order food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of complete meals and individual dishes.
  • Accommodate customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions.
  • Prepare specialized meals for patients as directed by nutritionists or head chefs.
  • Conduct inspections of kitchen and food service areas to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety practices.
  • Supervise kitchen personnel and assist in their development.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and work areas.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency.
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements
