About the Position

Brand Momentum is currently seeking a skilled Merchandising Specialist to work independently at a retail location, performing various tasks to enhance the visual appeal and sales of our flower and plant products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform merchandising tasks at a single retail store, including restocking and maintaining sections to ensure a visually appealing display.
  • Maintain sections, including restocking and ensuring the removal of dead plants, to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Address any out-of-stock issues and communicate with the store manager to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Clean and dust display fixtures and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Water and care for plants and flowers to ensure they remain healthy and visually appealing.
  • Submit daily visit reports and call reports to provide accurate and timely information.
  • Visit the store twice a week to perform merchandising tasks and maintain a strong relationship with the store manager.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the store manager and other retail staff to ensure a smooth and efficient merchandising process.
  • Remove any dead leaves or blooms and unsalable products to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Take photos of the display to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous merchandising experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Have a smartphone and access to the internet to complete daily tasks and reports.
  • Home location preferably located within 10 KM of the retail store.
