About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc. - D46. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Cloud-Based Solutions: Partner with our customers to understand their business needs and design cloud-based solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Cloud Architecture and Engineering: Collaborate with our engineering team to design and implement cloud-based architectures that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
  • Customer Engagement and Education: Educate our customers on the value proposition of cloud computing and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
  • Knowledge Sharing and Best Practices: Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
  • Training and Education: Create and deliver training and education sessions to widen and deepen technical and process skills for our team.
  • Technical Liaison: Act as a technical liaison between customers and product teams and help evolve the AWS platform.

Requirements
  • Experience in Cloud Computing: Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries and migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Cloud Technologies: Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.

The base salary for this position ranges from $99,900/year up to $166,900/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
