Clinical Specialist

Fraser Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Specialist - Wound and Skin Care to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide expert care to patients with complex wound and skin care needs. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality patient care and improve health outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide expert wound and skin care services to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct wound and skin care education for patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance wound and skin care practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and research in wound and skin care.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Three (3) years' recent related clinical skin and wound care experience, including one (1) year experience in a leadership/education role in a community health environment.
- Completion of a recognized course in wound ostomy and continence.
