Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic Assistant to join our team at JUNNIR MECHANIC REPAIR SHOP. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to our mechanics and tradespersons, ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist mechanics and tradespersons with tool handling, equipment movement, and material transportation.
  • Participate in surveying activities, holding stakes as required.
  • Signal safety procedures to colleagues and the public, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Support tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
  • Clean machines and work areas, maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • This role is physically demanding, requiring manual dexterity, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Occasional handling of heavy loads is required.
  • A large workload is expected, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
Weight Handling
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) of weight may be handled during the course of the job.
