About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team at TTL Transport Ltd as a Mechanic Assistant. In this role, you will provide support to our mechanics and transportation team, ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Mechanics: Provide hands-on support to our mechanics, including moving tools and equipment, holding stakes during surveying activities, and cleaning machines and work areas.
  • Support Transportation Team: Assist with tasks such as loading and unloading equipment, and providing general support to our transportation team.
  • Maintain a Safe Work Environment: Ensure a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Area of Specialization: Motor vehicles.
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, and working under pressure.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week. The language of work is English.
