Key Responsibilities

  • Ongoing maintenance and repair of buses
  • Respond to breakdowns and work with shop management to maintain schedules and priorities
  • Perform semi-annual Government Inspections and complete all documentation associated with mechanical repairs
  • Supervise apprentice mechanics and suggest areas for additional training

Requirements

  • Journeyman Ticket - Heavy Duty Mechanic
  • 2-5 years of related experience desired
  • Valid driver's license (Class 2 or 3 ideal) and Safety Inspection Certification through SGI desired
  • Experience working with Prevost coaches considered an asset
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills, computer proficiency, and own hand tools
