Job Summary

Olympic Controls is seeking a skilled Instrument Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As an Instrument Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our instruments and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instrument Inspection and Repair: Inspect and repair instruments and systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • System Calibration and Maintenance: Calibrate and maintain system components to ensure accurate and reliable performance.
  • Test and Maintenance Reports: Complete detailed test and maintenance reports to document system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Component Replacement and Installation: Replace and install new components and instruments as needed to maintain system performance.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work to prevent system downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in instrument maintenance and repair.
  • Certifications: Industrial Instrument Mechanic Trade Certification and Instrumentation and Control Technicians (Red Seal) certification.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work under pressure, manual dexterity, attention to detail, and efficient interpersonal skills.
