About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Worker to join our team at GREEN CITY LANDSCAPING & YARD CARE LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of our clients' outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Cut and maintain grass, as well as rake and collect refuse.
  • Remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials.
  • Lay sod or seed, and plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Apply fertilizers and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment.
Work Environment

As a Landscape Worker, you will work outdoors in a variety of locations, including private residences and commercial properties. You will be exposed to wet/damp conditions, odours, dust, and hot temperatures.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role.
  • Flexibility and reliability, with a strong team player attitude.
