We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer to join our team of multi-disciplinary engineers, designers, and project managers.

Responsibilities:
  • Create, edit, and modify AutoCAD drawings based on designs provided by engineers.
  • Utilize annotations for clarity and precision in technical drawings.
  • Develop and interpret reinforced concrete and steel drawings, as well as mechanical and shop drawings.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineers, shop personnel, and construction teams to ensure fabrication and constructability requirements are met.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • College Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of relevant AutoCAD design experience in a similar industry.

Required Skills:

  • High proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD software.
  • Proficiency in Inventor or SolidWorks 3D modeling software.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction, civil, and engineering plans accurately.
  • Experience with structural steel, reinforced concrete, or steel plate design.
  • Understanding of engineering principles and assembly, fabrication, and construction workflows.
  • Knowledge of project management software and computer applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Organized team player with the ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
