Job Summary:

Northern Lights Public Schools is a leading educational institution in Alberta's Lakeland region, renowned for its commitment to student success and well-being. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to school-aged children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement engaging activities for children in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure seamless integration with the school's educational programs.
  • Provide training and support to help children develop essential life skills.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Early Learning and Child Care Certification - Minimum Level 1 Child Development Assistant (training available)
  • First Aid Certification
  • Experience/training in childcare and related fields
  • A sincere desire to work with preschool and elementary age children
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
